Crafting Culinary Delights: From Restaurant Menu to an Enhanced Gatsby Website.
A website for a restaurant menu, where the user can view the dishes and their prices. It was a project that I initially developed to be a restaurant menu website, but I ended up transforming it into a website for a fictitious restaurant menu.
During the execution of this project, I had the opportunity to learn and apply the functionality of Gatsby to create highly SEO-optimized static websites. This experience not only improved my web development skills but also allowed me to create a user-friendly and efficient platform for restaurant menu viewing.

- A restaurant menu has to load fast and rank well in search, and a client-rendered app is the wrong tool for content that barely changes.
- My approach
- I built the menu as a statically generated Gatsby site tuned for SEO, later reworking it into a demo menu for a fictitious restaurant.
- The outcome
- A fast, search-friendly static site, and a practical sense of when static generation beats client rendering.
